My german provider, domainbox on friday updated its servers, since that my website and email were offline for 3 days. Why for so long? Well, because their live support (chat) is offline phone support (14c/min) is always busy they are working mo-fr, 9:00-6:00 I mean… it’s 2009 and I’m paying 120eu/year. How can provider take the liberty of it?

Got call from Apple

Yes, this is start of a trend. Today I got a call from Apple regarding xBill. After short explanation it was… the name. The nice person on the phone assured me that this is the last reason they can’t approve it (someone still can link “Bill” to Bill G.). Actually, it was a joke as I said I’m thinking about renaming the game to xZorro. But now it isn’t anymore....

One more hidden sensor in the new iPhone

Now, after several days after keynote I think of one small feature of the new iPhone - autofocus. Autofocus in any camera device means the ability to measure distance to an object.
